Let me start off by saying HopDoddy in Addison had a very friendly vibe. My bartender was very lively and she helped me with a burger selection that suited my taste buds. This burger here is a Cultural Club, but with a fried egg and avocado added to it. I also ordered a Dallas Blonde beer to go with my delicious burger. This burger was a burst of flavor with every bite. If I wasn't full from eating it I would have ordered another one! I recommend anyone to go here. HopDoddy in Addison is a family friendly environment and is also located in a beautiful area right next to a sushi bar and a new AMC movie theater.
Staring At The Ceiling
My classes are getting slightly stressful. How am I going to photograph something mundane, but make it look creative? I researched inspiration, took a walk in a park close to my house, took a relaxing bath, and still nothing came to mind. Just when I was about to throw in the towel I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling and thought to myself. What am I going to do? I then saw the fans blades making a cool pattern. At first I tried to snap a photo of it, but then my ceiling fan started to look like a regular object. I have been taking multiple long exposure photographs and though, out of curiosity, what my fan would look like as a long exposure. I fell in love with the image and began to edit it. The more I played with my image the more trippy it started to look. Photography concepts are everywhere and it's up to us photographers to show the world what we see.
'Cause Baby You're A Firework!
4th of July is a time for fun, but for me I was on a mission to create my very first firework photo! Of course I had fun along the way though. When I took the images of the fireworks I set my camera up outside of Kaboom Town at a friend's apartment. It was me and 8 of my friends crowded around on a small balcony to watch the fireworks. I had a great time capturing these beautiful bombs of color. This image is actually three photos in one. The location I took the fireworks was not as pretty as I wanted it to be. So I went downtown and took a different photo and layered the fireworks into it. My secret is out, but I thought I would get caught anyways! Happy shooting and I'm looking forward to next year's show and location!
