For our birthdays my boyfriend and I decided to go to California to celebrate, Southern California to be specific! This was my first trip to California and I felt right at home. The sun shined every day and the weather was to die for. Not to mention the beautiful view no matter what part you are in. One of the best parts of my trip was feeling the sun kiss my skin and drowning in the sun's rays as I walked across the sand.

I received my Hogwarts letter, was sorted into Hufflepuff house, drank my first butterbeer, and experienced getting my wand at Olivander's first hand! It was magical not to feel like a Muggle for a day!

California felt like paradise and then I remembered I had to return to real life...
