On to the Next Chapter

On March 28th I graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas with my Bachelor's degree. Sorry I have been MIA, but I'm finally getting to blog about graduation. After graduation the rest of your life starts. There isn't anyone to make sure you are on top of your game 24/7 anymore. Self motivation is the key after graduation.

There are so many people that helped me make it this far and I appreciate all of the help. I want to especially thank my instructor Twyla Bloxham. She pushed me to be great. She was my favorite instructor and is an amazing woman.

During my time at the Art Institute I gained the knowledge to express myself and grow as a person. I'm curious to find out what's next for me.

Work Hard. Study Hard.

Being a passionate photographer, inspiration never sleeps. I have piles of cookbooks, magazines, and a long list of blogs that inspire my photography today. There are so many types of photography to explore, but the one I'm most interested in is food.

Being a photographer there is always room for growth and exploration. I have come so far with my photography from the day I knew I wanted to be a food photographer until now and I'm excited for my future as a photographer.

Some Inspiration

SummitScape

Remember the canvas that I painted? Well I thought it would make a great backdrop and I was right! I'm glad that these guys were willing to use my creation as the backdrop for their images.

SummitScape is a local music duo made up of Harry Myer and Trinity Campbell.  Their first single of 2016 came out today, "No Complaints." You can listen to their single on SoundCloud! Also follow them on Instagram @SummitScape. I had a great time shooting these guys and look forward to working with them again in the future.
