MY Body! MY Choice!

Women’s Rights are HUMAN RIGHTS!

Klyde Warren Park to City Hall // Dallas, Texas // May 25, 2019

This is what democracy looks like…We will NOT be silenced!

"I write for those women who do not speak, for those who do not have a voice because they were so terrified, because we are taught to respect fear more than ourselves. We've been taught that silence would save us, but it won't." — Audre Lorde, An American writer, feminist, womanist, librarian, and civil rights activist.

I am pro choice.

I am in favor of women making the right decision for themselves.

I am for Planned Parenthood.

I am for safe abortions if that’s the right decision for you.

I am for everyone minding their own business.

I am a woman and I support other women in their right to choose what they do with their own bodies.

"I do not wish women to have power over men; but over themselves." — Mary Shelley, An English novelist who wrote the Gothic novel Frankenstein.

Sweet Tooth Hotel "1955"

Sweet Tooth Hotel is a fun/exciting random gallery that is currently showing “1955.” This exhibit was vibrant and crazy with all of the colors and lights. When I immersed myself in this exhibit it took me back in time, but to the future! I felt the zero gravity as I walked through an alien planet, but when I turned around to the “Personal Space” exhibit there was an animated female cyborg ready to attack!

“Artists will create work addressing retrofuturism, which is characterized by depictions of the future produced in an earlier era and explores the tension of future and past and between the alienating and empowering effects of technology.”

I don’t want to reveal too much about the exhibit so if you want to know more please visit Sweet Tooth Hotel!
